iPhone 5 Release Rumor
The rumor that Apple would release the iPhone 5 on October 5th W commemorate Steve lobs’ death was nothing more than mere speculation. But it also raised the question of how far Apple might go to promote the iPhone 5 in 2012.

There isn’t much to report or reflect on these days concerning the iPhone 5. The only real focus on the iPhone 45 is how well it will keep selling at the beginning of 2012 . All rumors from on-the-scene tech outlets like Digitimes have been largely silent, most likely because Cupertino themselves have slowed down on whatever development and production projects are in the works for the iPhone 5. But the iPhone 5 rumors will never rest. Still, if you want to play flash on iPhone, you will need a flv to mov converter.
The prevailing story today concerning the iPhone 5 is that it will be released on October 5th, 2012 — the one-year anniversary of Steve lobs’ death. If you search the news, you’re bound to find several dozen stories propagating this rumor. The Apple Biter’s Blog puts it this way: “It could very well be that the iPhone Swill be released on October 5, 2012, if sources close to Apple are right about the rumors that the iPhone 5 will be released on the first anniversary of Steve lobs’ death, to pay homage to the inventor of the iPhone.”
The Apple Biter’s Blog and other blogs are citing “sources close to Apple” that this is a legitimate rumor. But what it smacks of is someone’s ham-handed guess at when Apple might release the iPhone 5 in 2012 is not reliable. What is safer to assume is that Apple has not set release date for the 2012 iPhone 5 at this point — it’s more likely that Cupertino’s marketing department has a date range that they are working within, based on production and examination schedules. Our own inside source has information to suggest that the iPhone 5 will be released in lune, which would ostensibly involve an announcement at the 2012 WWDC. But if the announcement comes at the WWDC, the iPhorie 5 could be released anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks after the announcement, based on production schedules.
Would Apple Leverage Steve Jobs To Sell the iPhone 5?

The dubiousness of the release date of October 5th 2012 isn’t the date itself — Apple would be within its logical boundaries to release the iPhone 5 on that, since that will be a year after the release of iPhone 45. What’s more disturbing is the notion that Apple would use the Steve lobs brand as a kind of logo for launching the iPhone 5.
How would you feel if Steve Ribs’ image and quotes were used in ‘Phone 5 advertising?
I suppose it is possible that lobs himself might have given his blessing on using his image even after his death to promote the iPhone 5 — he may have even filmed himself talking about it, to be used in its 2012 promotion. Rumors endure that lobs was heavily involved in the iPhone 5′s development and suspension, and as a result, it must have been extremely frustrating for him to have put it on hold, knowing that he wouldn’t live to see it comes out. He could have already put together a presentation to use in 2012. But that is just total speculation of my part.
As an admirer of Steve lobs, I would like to see his legacy endure as a historical figure, like Thomas Edison or Walt Disney. I don’t want W see his visage become a t-shirt image, like Che or Andre The Giant. He is out of this world now; let’s take him out of the sales loop for the iPhone 5. If lobs was indeed involved in the iPhone 5′s R&D, it won’t need his celebrity status to become the most successful iPhone release ever.
